We are participating in Energy Saving Week

The Finnish national Energy Saving Week, coordinated by Motiva, is annually held during week 41. The purpose of this campaign is to focus on the habits of energy use and highlight the importance of energy saving.

Ovenia will participate in Energy Saving Week 2011 and encourages its staff members nationally to save energy in their everyday activities, both at work and at home as well as on the go. Ovenia will take part in Energy Saving Week for two weeks this year. During week 40, focus will be put on energy saving tips for the Ovenia regional offices, and during week 41, themes provided by Motiva will be exhibited every day. Moreover, a two-week electricity saving contest will be organised between the two different floors of the main office. The floor which succeeds in saving relatively more electricity during the contest wins!

There will be a presentation on the Sponda energy efficiency programme going on during the week in the lobby of the property. The presentation will include, e.g., the property's energy consumption and also objectives on energy saving.
