Good property management services increases the occupant’s satisfaction and promotes energy savings

The recent months have been the source of much positive news and new experiences for Ovenia.
Ovenia is valued as a partner
In September we participated in a corporate image survey to find out what the market knows and thinks about Ovenia. The results were really encouraging. We are well-known among our target group and they are also well aware of the services we offer. Especially gratifying was the discovery that 90 per cent of all participants in the survey would be willing to recommend us as a business partner. Ovenia’s current strategy and operating methods are supportive of client businesses, and the results encourage us to continue along our chosen path.
Life cycle development services meet property challenges
While reorganising ourselves we have become familiar with the challenges faced by our clients. Therefore, we have supplemented our basic property management, financial management and leasing services with life cycle development services. In our view, the life cycle development of a property always starts from the existing property or portfolio. Our aim is to increase the earnings potential of our clients’ properties and positively influence valuations through the provision of the following services:
- Services management (e.g. Ahti Business Park)
- Project management (incl. tenant changes and the commissioning of renovation projects)
- Energy management (e.g. customer-specific energy programmes, energy certificates)
- Environmental management (incl. environmental cards, environmental responsibility reporting)
- Property appraisals
We have already piloted these services with one of our clients, with excellent results. We know what it takes to improve the attractiveness, functioning and profitability of an existing site. The general economic situation also acts as an excellent incentive, for now we can measure whether we are doing the right things in our properties at the right time. We are ready for this challenge.
AHTI Business Park opened
A fine example of the workability of our new property development concept is the AHTI Business Park just opened at Haukilahti in the City of Espoo. This site, which is approximately 30 years old, has undergone many changes in the past year. Now the middle-aged property has been reborn, its business concept has been renewed and it is full of new tenants. This resurgence has been made possible by the courage of its owner, Mandatum Life, to renew the concept, and also by the range of life cycle development services offered by Ovenia. Corresponding projects are already underway with several of our other clients.
Positive cycle continues
Our business growth is going ahead as planned and, at the same time, we are increasing our resources in line with our goals. A recruitment campaign conducted in summer and early autumn yielded excellent results. We are happy to report that the property sector and Ovenia are indeed attractive employment areas. We received 550 applications from which we have chosen the best to represent the interests of our clients.
